Engineering Fees and Applications
Effective January 1, 2012, the following municipal fee information is relevant for Engineering Services (Bylaw 10, as amended). Unless specified otherwise, applications are to be submitted to the Engineering Department at the location or mailing address below.

PLEASE NOTE:
Prior to the applicant executing the Subdivision Agreement, 1% of the value of the estimated construction cost will be collected, less 1/2 of the initial deposit. This 1% fee will cover the review of the draft plan and three (3) engineering reviews of the submitted plans. Any additional engineering reviews will be charged at the applicable hourly rates.
Prior to the applicant receiving their Preliminary Certificate of Approval of Underground Services, 1% of the value of the estimated construction cost will be collected, less the remaining 1/2 of the initial deposit. This 1% fee will cover construction spot inspections. If there are any unusual engineering/construction circumstances, poor construction techniques and/or inadequate inspections by the consultants; upon notification, the applicant will be charged the applicable hourly rates in addition to the 1%.
* The applicant will pay for the full cost of any required peer reviews in addition to the percentage-based fee.
