Kingston's Official Plan
This new Official Plan for the City of Kingston has been approved by the Minister of
Municipal Affairs and Housing.
The Plan, which came into effect on January 27, 2010, replaces and consolidates the three
previous Official Plans of the former City of Kingston, former Township of Kingston and
the former Pittsburgh Township.
This August 1, 2011, consolidated version of the Official Plan includes all approvals and
modifications made to the Plan up to and including July 31, 2011, and has been prepared
for convenience. For precise reference to any policies or map schedules contained within
the Plan, please consult the City of Kingston Planning and Development Department.
