Kingston Public Market
The Kingston Public Market is located in Springer Market Square in beautiful downtown Kingston. This oldest and longest-running Market in Ontario offers:
- Locally-grown produce and crafts by local artisans: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Statutory holidays
- Antique Market (some produce and crafts): Sundays
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The official hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Vendors are, generally, set-up and making sales by 8:30 a.m. and begin to pack up around 4 p.m. The Market runs from April to November. A smaller number of vendors set up on Market days from November to April as availability allows.
Requirements
PRODUCERS
- Preference is given to vendors who live within a 100 km radius of the City of Kingston
- Preference is given to produce vendors who are growers
CRAFTERS
- Preference is given to crafters who live within a 100 km radius of the City of Kingston.
- All crafters must have their goods juried in order to determine authenticity

Stall Rentals
- Stalls can be leased on a yearly or daily basis.
- Depending on location, produce and crafter stall leases can range from a yearly rate of $284.88 to $615.06 based on the 2006 rate.
- A casual vendor, daily produce or crafter, rental rate is currently $32.36 — Sunday rate is $24.81, based on the 2006 rate.
- Rate increases yearly based upon the current Consumer Price Index.
Antique Market
- The Antique Market operates on Sundays from the end of April until mid-October. Fees to lease space on the Antique Market are determined by the leaseholder.
