City Council

About City Council:

City Council is the body that governs the municipality of Kingston. Its decisions, made on behalf of the people of Kingston, guide the actions and priorities of City staff. The Council consists of 13 elected members: the mayor and 12 councillors (each representing a City district). All elected officials serve a four-year term as mandated by the province's Municipal Elections Act. The next election is set for October 27, 2014.
