About the Master Fire Plan Steering Committee:
This committee is no longer active. It was composed of 14 experts and assisted in the development and implementation of a Comprehensive Master Fire Plan through the Shaping Fire-Safe Communities (CFSC) Master Fire Plan program. The plan provides the basis for understanding present and future fire risks to the community, include a system for effective and efficient use of resources to control fire losses and fire protection costs, and address local needs and circumstances while taking into account the community's budget constraints.
