Kingston Environmental Advisory Forum
The Kingston Environmental Advisory Forum (KEAF) identifies environmental issues and priorities in Kingston and assists the City in preparing its environmental strategy. KEAF also responds to special requests from City Council for advice on environmental issues that may arise. Its mission is to provide leadership in improving the quality of our lives and the lives of our children through the thoughtful planning and management of our built and natural environments.
MEMBERS:
The 21 members of KEAF consist of: 12 public representatives appointed by Council from the community, six technical representatives culled from Queen's University, the Royal Military College, St. Lawrence College, the Cataraqui Regional Conservation Authority and the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington Health Unit, as well as three members of Council. The mayor is an ex officio member of the Committee.
