Draft Report Recommendations - Overview

With the completion of the report of draft recommendations on the services under review, the City of Kingston Review of Services project is entering the post-analysis consultation phase. Public meetings are planned for February 22 and February 23 to gather feedback on the draft recommendations. The Task Force to Review Services will review feedback from the public and City of Kingston employees before making its final recommendations to Council in March of 2005.
The public is invited to review and provide feedback on the executive summary and the draft recommendations and appendices - which can be accessed using the links at right - for each of the five services areas under review.
PUBLIC OPEN HOUSES
The Public Open Houses February 22 and February 23 on the draft recommendations will be facilitated by the Task Force to Review Services, with a formal presentation by BMA Management Consulting Inc. Those attending will be able to comment on recommendations.

SPEAKING LIST FOR PUBLIC MEETINGS
A speaking list has been established to ensure that any individual or organization wishing to speak at the Review of Services public meetings will have an opportunity to do so. There is a limit of one speaker per organization per meeting, and speakers are limited to five minutes of speaking time.
To have your name added to the speaking list, call 613-546-4291 ext. 1388. Each speaker on the list will be assigned a number that will determine the speaking order at the meeting.
While it is not necessary to put your name on the list, those who arrive at a public meeting without having requested placement on the list in advance will be placed at the bottom of the speaking list.
