BIOGRAPHY
Vicki Schmolka was elected to Trillium district on Nov. 13, 2006.
Born in Montreal, Councillor Schmolka studied law at McGill University and is a member of the Barreau du Québec. She also holds a Teacher of Adults certificate from St. Lawrence College.
Councillor Schmolka moved to Kingston in 1989. She has been the chair of a local school council, and is a founder of Cycle Kingston and the Land Conservancy for Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington.
Councillor Schmolka is a self-employed consultant who translates technical and legal material into reader-friendly language.
