BIOGRAPHY
Bryan Paterson was first elected to represent Trillium district on Oct. 25, 2010.
Paterson is an assistant professor of economics at Royal Military College, where he has been a faculty member since 2006. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master's and PhD in economics from Queen's University. He grew up in Newmarket, Ontario and first moved to Kingston in 2000 to study at Queen's. He currently lives in Trillium District with his wife Shyla and two sons Judah and Micah.
Paterson has worked extensively with youth since moving to Kingston. He has been a leader of a local youth group and has organized a variety of volunteer and charitable activities geared to helping young people get involved in their local community. He also served as a member of the Kingston Whig-Standard community editorial board in 2006 and 2007.
