You will provide relief coverage for existing Crossing Guard staff members, by assisting and supervising school-age children with crossing roads in various locations of the Municipality in a safe and professional manner.

Your resume should clearly identify the following qualifications and skills which are required:

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent education.
• Experience interacting with children and working in a customer service environment is considered an asset.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while keeping in mind the safety of children at all times.
• Good observation skills and the ability to interact with children and the general public in a positive manner.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, relaying information in a clear and concise manner with the ability to handle stressful situations.
• You will be required to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions while having the ability to stand for long periods of time and be in good physical condition.
• You must be available to work split shifts and be able to provide your own transportation.
• A satisfactory Criminal Police Information Request (CPIC) is required at your own expense at the time of hiring.
