Community Cultural Policy Plan Public Workshops |
On Jan. 28 and 29 the public is invited to attend a second round of public workshops that will help to inform the development of a Community Cultural Policy Plan for the City of Kingston. Based on what was heard during the first round of public workshops held in September, these two workshops provide a chance for Kingston residents to respond to the principles, strategic directions and "big moves" being proposed that will shape the cultural vitality of the City over the next 10 years. Public workshops will be held in Memorial Hall at City Hall, 216 Ontario St.
The January 28 session will include a keynote address by visionary city builder Glen Murray, President & CEO of the Canadian Urban Institute, who will speak to why cultural vitality matters to cities.
