Urban Design Guidelines Public Workshop

The City will present draft Urban Design Guidelines for Residential Intensification and New Communities at a public workshop on Wednesday, March 31 in the Press Lounge at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, 53 Yonge St. Participants can choose to attend one of two sessions: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Session 1) or 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Session 2).

• Urban Design Guidelines for Low and Medium Density Residential Intensification identify standards for integrated new development; and assist property owners in planning renovations and new construction.
• Urban Design Guidelines for New Communities address the design of roads and buildings, the location of parks and open spaces and appropriate land uses; and how greenfield and large brownfield sites should be developed.
