Details:

The City of Kingston Planning Committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.on May 20 at 6:30 p.m in Council Chambers, City Hall.

Public meetings:

  • 3480 Princess St. - 1278804 Ontario Corporation - D09-051-2010, D14-182-2010, D12-055- 2010. Applications for Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-Law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision to permit the construction of a twenty unit residential townhouse development, accessed by a private road and a commercial block. The subject site is approximately 1.2 hectares.
  • 326 Alfred St. - Podium Developments - D14-180-2010. Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to demolish the existing building and construct a multiple family dwelling containing 18 units. Amendments to the Zoning By-Law are required to permit the multiple family dwelling, increase the lot occupancy and reduce the side and rear setbacks, amenity area and parking spaces.
  • Highway 15 Baxter Farm - Greenwood Park Limited Partnership No. 1 - D09-047-2009, D14-160-2009 & D12-051-2009. Resumption of May 6 meeting for Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-Law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision applications to develop a residential subdivision (Baxter Farm Subdivision) on approximately 11 hectares of undeveloped land. The applications have been revised slightly to now propose 141 single family residential lots 7 future residential blocks, a stormwater pond, a flood plain area and 4 open space blocks.

Business (Items for Discussion/Recommendation):

  • 2939 Creekford Rd. - Braebury Homes Corp. - D14-168-2009, D12-052-2009 Applications for Zoning By-Law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision to permit a residential subdivision consisting of 3 semi-detached lots, 19 residential townhouse blocks and 3 undeveloped blocks. The proposed development will be accessed from the abutting lands to the west (Woodhaven [Tamarack] Subdivision).
