Help Kingston divert more waste from landfill. A Waste Diversion Open House is set for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 21 in the Front Lounge at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, 53 Yonge St. Come learn about a number of waste diversion options the City is considering & and let us know your thoughts on the best ways for Kingston to trim its waste and achieve its goal of diverting 65 per cent of waste from landfill. A Your Opinion survey and comment opportunity will be also posted online at www.cityofkingston.ca/wastestudy on June 15. Comments will be accepted until July 5. |
