Calling All Potential Candidates

Interested in being Mayor, a Councillor, or School Board Trustee?

The City of Kingston will be hosting a Candidates Information Session on:
Date: Wednesday, June 23
Time: 7 to 9 p.m.
Location: Memorial Hall, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 216 Ontario St.

All Registered Candidates — and those individuals thinking of running in the 2010 Municipal Election on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 — are cordially invited to attend.

The purpose of the session is to provide information to candidates and the public regarding the City's governance model (including the roles of the Mayor and Councillors) time commitment, remuneration, orientation, and the municipal election process (including rules and regulations regarding campaign finances). Please note that this is not a candidate debate forum.
