April 25 LVEC "Have Your Say" Meeting Televised

Kingston City Hall confirmed today that TVCOGECO 13 will televise the Monday, April 25, "Have Your Say" meeting from Memorial Hall, City Hall.

Image: The COGECO 13 logo. The public meeting, hosted by the Large Venue Entertainment Centre Steering Committee, runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will provide an opportunity for public delegations to share their opinion on the proposed sports and entertainment centre in downtown Kingston.

Monday's meeting comes the day before the Steering Committee meets to deliberate on the recommendations it will forward to City Council on the recently released LVEC Business Plan.

To facilitate the large number of delegation requests for Monday's meeting, officials offer the reminder about the need to pre-register in advance. Each speaker on the list will be assigned a number that will determine the speaking order at the meeting. Time permitting, additional delegation requests will be accepted at the meeting and added to the bottom of the speaking.

To pre-register as a delegate for the Monday, April 25, Large Venue Entertainment Centre meeting call 546-4291, extension 1405 by 4:30 p.m. April 25. Alternatively, pre-register as a delegate by sending an email request to LVEC@cityofkingston.ca. Each registered delegation will be assigned a number to determine the speaking order.

TV COGECO 13 will broadcast the "Have your Say" meeting live starting at 7:00 p.m. on April 25.
