SUMMER 2010 RENOVATIONS
The theatre will undergo renovations July 5 to September 4 to improve accessibility.
During this period the Grand will not be presenting any performances, but the box office
will be open from Monday to Friday, noon to 5 p.m.

Single-Ticket Sales Began Aug. 23
For Grand Theatre's New Season
Fans can now purchase single tickets for all Grand Theatre Presents performances within
the 2010-2011 season. Tickets for the 1st annual Kingston Grand Festival of Canadian Wines
October 16 are also now on sale.

Grant Helps Introduce Students To Theatre

The Cultural Investment Strategic Fund of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture has awarded
$12,000 to the Grand Theatre Foundation so it can expand its educational programming in
the community. The monies will be used to develop curriculum-linked resource materials for
teachers and students that can be used in conjunction with performances at The Grand.

and now high school students in Kingston can take advantage of discounted prices on live
performances at the Grand Theatre. With the eyeGo program, secondary school students can
attend many Grand Theatre Presents performances at the Grand Theatre for only $5.

Grand Theatre Launches Wine & Food Festival

The first-ever Grand Festival of Fine Canadian Wines and Food will take place on October
16, 2010, and will feature wine tastings and food pairings, lectures from the Grand
Theatre stage, and will showcase wines not only from the acclaimed region of Prince Edward
County, but those from across the country.

2009-2010 Grand Theatre Presents Line-Up

An exciting season of renowned artists from across the globe was revealed to Grand Theatre
volunteers, subscribers, donors and sponsors in a special event today. The City of
Kingston's Cultural Director Brian McCurdy has curated a line-up of 30 brilliant
performances and 6 education productions in both English and French for the 09-10 Grand
Theatre Presents season.
