Ice At The Wally Elmer


The 2009-10 skating schedule for the Wally will be posted shortly.


Public Skating: Free public skating is open to all age groups. Each session is supervised by an "on-ice" staff member. Skates must be worn while on the ice surface, and no pucks or hockey sticks. Supports, chairs, sleds, strollers and pylons are not permitted on the ice during public skating sessions. Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants.

Family Skating: Free family skates offer social and recreational skating for families only. Participating children can be of any age. Each session is supervised by an "on-ice" staff member. Skates must be worn while on the ice surface. No pucks or hockey sticks are allowed. Supports, chairs, strollers and pylons are permitted on the ice only in the designated beginner area. Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants.

Parent & Tot Skating: This free parent and tot skating is for preschoolers (6 and under) accompanied by their parents or caregivers. Skates must be worn while on the ice surface. Pucks or hockey sticks are allowed the on ice surface only in designated "hockey" area. Skating supports are welcome, and strollers will be permitted on the ice provided the wheels are clean. Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants, and are required in the "hockey" area. This is a self-supervised activity.

Adult & Senior Skating: Come out and enjoy music, friendship, and exercise. All levels of skaters welcome. This free public skating is open to adults and seniors ages 18+. Skates must be worn while on the ice. Skating supports are welcome. Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants. This is a self-supervised activity.
