The Wally Elmer Neighbourhood Centre

Bringing neighbours together

The Wally Elmer Neighbourhood Centre is a gathering place for people of all ages and offers scheduled programs and many drop-in activities.

Celebrating A Holiday Gift

Photo: Gifts collected at the churches of St Matthews and Edith Rankin Memorial Christmas party.

On December 7th, the churches of St Matthews and Edith Rankin Memorial hosted a Christmas party and gift-buying event for children at the Wally. Personal shoppers accompanied each excited child as they selected 6 gifts for their family and friends from the 1,800 gifts the churches had gathered. The party was complete with a gift wrapping station and free hotdogs and drinks. Thank you to everyone who made the event a wonderful success.
