More Than Just Flowers
Communities in Bloom is more than just flowers! Communities in Bloom is a program that celebrates communities that continue to grow and flourish through participation in the national program. It is important that the City continues to embrace the Communities in Bloom program and celebrate our continued efforts in enhancing the quality of life and sense of civic pride for our residents and visitors.
Dates to Remember
- June 5 — Plant-off at Springer Market Square at 10 a.m.
- June 22 — Deadline for registering a garden.
- June 24 — Open Garden Tour of 2011 Kingston Blooms winners from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Contact Sue Hitchcock at 613-546-4291, ext. 1716 for tickets ($8 in advance or $10 on the day). Advance tickets and tour booklets are also available at each of these participating locations:
