Jingle Bell Walk
Jingle all the way from Springer Market Square to light up City Park on the Jingle Bell Walk event on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.
The evening's festivities start at 6 p.m. in the Square. The walk to City Park starts at 6:30 p.m.

Ride With Santa
After the walkers arrive at the park at 7 p.m., Santa Claus and the winner of the Ride with Santa contest, six year-old Madison McCullough, will preside over the ceremonial flicking of the switch.

Plan to quit smoking for the New Year
This year, the tobacco-free walk is again being sponsored in part by Play, Live, Be Tobacco-free — KFL&A Public Health is promoting tobacco-free sports and recreation. They will have a booth in the Square offering information to anyone who is gearing up to quit smoking by 2011 or sooner! See the link at right.
Opportunities To Give... And Get A Jingle Bell Necklace
Get a free Jingle Bell necklace for your walk by bringing a non-perishable food item a or cash donation for the Partners in Mission Food Bank. Proceeds from the sale of hot chocolate in Spring Market Square will be donated to P.R.O. Kids, the City charity that helps make recreational opportunities affordable for Kingston children and youth.
The lights will continue to glow in the park until Saturday, Jan. 28.
