Neighbourhood Park Drop-In Program

The Drop-in Program is designed to provide recreational opportunities for children within walking distance of their home. The program includes active and quiet games, arts and crafts, sports, special events and theme days. Participants are free to come and go as they please.

Note: Most program sites do not have access to water or washroom facilities. Programs will not operate on rainy days and participants will be sent home. Children must be within walking distance of their home. There is no lunch hour supervision.

Dates

July 5 - Aug. 27, Monday to Friday.
Programs will not operate on Monday, Aug. 2 due to the civic holiday.

Ages

6 - 12 years. Children under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

Cost

Free. Program participants must have their parent or guardian complete and sign a program registration form available from park leaders at the various park program sites.
