Grower Pesticide Safety Course
Learn how to keep yourself, your family and the environment safe when you handle and use pesticides. The course does not include crop production or crop protection recommendations.
Quick Facts
- Most courses are offered between December and April.
- Most courses begin at 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.
About The Exam
- It's open-book. You may refer to your Grower Pesticide Safety Course Manual when you write the exam.
- You need a grade of 75% to pass.
- You can re-try the exam again at no charge, if you don't pass on your first try.
- The exam is made up of short answer and multiple choice questions.
- There is some math to do - bring your calculator!
- If you are participating in a course day, you will write the exam in two parts: one part before lunch and one part at the end of the course.
- If you are renewing by studying on your own and registering to write the exam, you have two hours to complete the exam.
