The Steering Committee is now facilitating a process that places community engagement at the forefront.

This plan needs to be a community plan based on the experience, the reality and the solutions of our community organizations, agencies and individuals. Most of all, this Community Plan needs to build on the existing work that is taking place in the community right now to eradicate poverty and to lessen the impacts of those living in it. The Committee looks forward to working with the community on this important initiative.
