Kingston Airport Looks Towards Expansion
The City of Kingston has engaged an experienced firm (LPS Avia, of Ottawa) to help guide it in deciding on what facility improvements would best serve its interests in providing good, reliable air access to/from Kingston. By November, 2011, the firm is scheduled to provide a market analysis, infrastructure review to meet the needs of potential airlines and a business case that would help the City make informed decisions on possible enhancements.

Passengers should arrive at the Kingston Airport at least one hour before their flight to allow enough time to check-in and to process through pre-board screening. Canada Updates Luggage/Carry-On Security
Transport Canada has amended security requirements for passengers who may need to bring limited quantities of liquids, gels and aerosols onboard aircraft. Passengers will be permitted to bring such materials through security screening at Canadian airports provided that the items are in containers of 100 ml (3.4 oz.) or less. The containers must fit comfortably in one clear, closed and resealable plastic bag with a capacity of no more than 1 litre (1 quart). MORE ...
