The stylized wheel with three sections represents transportation in Kingston with the individual sections corresponding to personal vehicles, public transit and non - motorized vehicles. The sidewalk at the lower portion of the logo represents pedestrian movement and the wave under Kingston is symbolic of the water that in many ways defines Kingston as a community.
