Repairs At Downtown Garages
To Begin With Robert Bruce Lot

May 14/10 > The City will begin to rehabilitate the Robert Bruce Memorial Parking lot next week. The Bruce lot, the first of three downtown parking garages scheduled for repair this season, will be closed during construction to repair and upgrade both its levels. Dec 16/09 > This year's Toys for Tickets program has collected more toys than ever — 380 of them representing $5,090 in parking fines. Kingston motorists took advantage of this year's two-day extension to pay for their parking tickets with toys. The City of Kingston, in conjunction with Queens University, KGH, Hotel Dieu, and the Downtown BIA, have conducted a comprehensive review of traffic, parking and transit conditions in the area south of Concession Street and east of Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard., resulting in a short- and long-term plan of action that deals with these needs over the next 15 years.
