Rail and Inter-City Bus

RAIL SERVICE

Kingston's Via Rail station is at 1800 John Counter Blvd. (just east of Princess Street). It can be reached by Kingston Transit Routes C and A (no evening or Sunday service on Route A).

A snack bar with magazines, washrooms and Wifi internet are available at the station.

INTER-CITY BUS

Kingston's inter-city bus terminal is at 1175 John Counter Blvd. It can be reached by Kingston Transit Routes 2, C and 15 (no evening or Sunday service on Route 15). The terminal is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and reopens from 1:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. to service night buses (no sales personnel are present on the overnight shift). A number of inter-city bus companies travel out of Kingston to destinations including, Toronto, Toronto's Pearson Airport, Ottawa, Montreal and points between and beyond. Call 613-547-4916 to contact the terminal or check the coach carrier of your choice for bus schedule and fare details.

TAXIS

Taxis are usually waiting to pick up Kingston-bound passengers at both the Via Rail Station and inter-city bus station. Some Kingstonians enjoy sharing a taxi from the station to common destinations (such as the downtown area and Queen's University) and most taxis allow this.
