The programs at the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum keeps learning opportunities alive and the Grass Creek Park beachfront location makes it an ideal choice for families that want to make a day of it.

Mom & Tot Program "Shape up the Season"

 

Explore the world of shapes through stories, song and art! This program is designed to enhance and enrich the learning experiences of children ages 0-3 years. Every Thursday from 10-11 a.m., through November we will discover a new shape, and explore it through a variety of holiday inspired activities. Regular admission fees apply.

November 5: Circles and Snowmen

November 19: Trees & Triangles
November 26: Stars and our Season

November 21 & November 28

"Get Up, Get Festive"

 

Get prepared for the holiday season with staff at the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum. Children ages 7-10 will learn about the art of card and gift wrap making, and work on developing handmade tree ornaments and gifts! This program will run in two sessions.

Time: 1-3 p.m.
Cost: $10 per participant

Visit us at the Rocking Horse

 

Make your PA Day a festive one! Come check out the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum at the Rocking Horse! On November 16, staff from the museum will host two complementary sessions where children of all ages can learn the craft of card-making. Be sure tom come and check it out!
