Belle Park to open for the golfing season
April 25, 2016 -
Belle Park Golf Course officially opens for the golfing season at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 29 – and is having a 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. open house on Thursday, April 28 to celebrate.
Members and the public are invited to come to the clubhouse for a free cup of coffee, meet staff and learn about their membership options. Members who have already paid for the season can place their clubs in assigned lockers.
"Belle Park is beautiful and it's in a central location. Make a point of checking out Belle Park this year. Golf, plan a birthday party or just walk around and enjoy the great views of the Cataraquir River," says Adam McCluskey, manager, recreation facilities.
The City of Kingston's golf course, at 731 Montreal St., overlooks Kingston's Inner Harbour and offers a nine-hole course, driving range, golf carts and club rentals during the season.
The golf course is open from 8 a.m. to dusk daily until Victoria Day and will open at 7:30 a.m. after that. Play nine holes any weekday for $17.75 or for $21 on the weekend.
