null Caton's Park to be prepared for improvements
February 1, 2017 -
Starting Monday, selected trees and vegetation will be cleared or pruned to prepare for the renovation of Caton's Park. Trees in poor condition will be removed.
Most of the renovations at Caton's Park are set to begin this spring and include:
- the demolition of the existing concrete block park building;
- the reconstruction of the soft ball diamond; and
- grading and landscaping.
Park construction will not affect the soccer fields and they will remain in use for the 2017 season.
For details on the improvements planned for Caton's Park, see "Parks Development" at www.CityofKingston.ca/Projects.
