Celebrating Accessibility Awards' nomination deadline is Friday

Nominations for the 2016 Celebrating Accessibility Awards are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4.

Know a person or organization making Kingston more accessible?  The City and the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee are accepting nominations in multiple categories, including: education, employment, recreation, customer service, built environment, volunteer, youth and other.

The awards will be given out at a Thursday, Dec. 1 ceremony at City Hall.

The Celebrating Accessibility Awards recognizes a person, group or organization that has made or is making a significant contribution beyond legislated requirements, towards improving access for persons with disabilities in Kingston.
