September 5, 2013 -

PHOTO OP ADVISORY

WHEN: 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7

WHERE: Intersection of Cataraqui Woods Drive and Woodhaven Drive

WHO: Mayor Mark Gerretsen, City staff and representatives from the Cataraqui Woods Development Group

WHAT: A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of Cataraqui Woods Drive from Princess Street to Bayridge Drive.

This new 3km section of road offers additional access to residential development in the area and includes two new roundabouts, dedicated cycling lanes and a paved multi-use trail. The extension of Cataraqui Woods Drive provides new arterial road capacity for this growing part of the City, as directed by the City's Official Plan and the Kingston Transportation Master Plan.
