null City committees to hold Volunteer Recruitment night

The City is having a Volunteer Recruitment night on Monday, Sept. 30 to provide information to those who may be interested in filling one of 31 available positions on eight of the boards, commissions and committees that help conduct and advise on the work of the City.
The Volunteer Recruitment Information Sharing Event starts at 6 p.m. in Memorial Hall, City Hall, 216 Ontario St. At the event, the public can meet with elected officials and senior staff and speak informally with Chairs and Vice Chairs, learn about the Corporate Strategic Plan and volunteerism and hear from committee chairs.
Registration is not required, but letting us know you are coming will help organizers plan the event. Contact: Diane Jackson, Records Clerk, at 613-546-4291, ext. 1375 or email@example.com by Friday, Sept. 27.

The deadline for committee applications is Friday, Oct. 4 at 4:30 p.m.
