null City completes Bayridge Drive extension
September 4, 2015 -
The project to extend Bayridge Drive from Creekford Road to Front Road is now complete – and offers west-end motorists more direct access to Highway 401.
"Bayridge Drive is now a key arterial road in the city's west-end. It is expected to alleviate traffic on Gardiners Road," says Mark Van Buren, director of engineering for the City of Kingston.
He notes that the extension supports future development in the west-end and will help reduce the number of motorists cutting through the Cataraqui Woods neighbourhood.
