null City issues RFP for Naming Rights to INVISTA Centre rinks

The City has issued an Request For Proposals (RFP) for naming rights for the four ice pads at the INVISTA Centre. The current contracts for corporate naming rights sponsors will end on September 30, 2013.
"This is a high quality facility with the highest utilized ice pads in the City. The ice pads and fitness centre attract more than 890,000 people per year. They've earned an excellent reputation both in and beyond Kingston and we know there's great value to any corporate sponsor," says Wally Ferris, Director of Recreation.
Below is the timeline associated with the RFP which was released yesterday and offers potential sponsors negotiable terms, including five to ten-year options, along with renewal options:
- Site tour: Wednesday, June 12 at 1 p.m.
- Deadline for submitting questions: Friday, June 14
- Closing date: Wednesday, June 26 at 3 p.m.
The INVISTA Centre, at 1350 Gardiners Rd., opened in 2008.
