City offers 200 summer student jobs

February 11, 2014 -

Students should start their job search with the City of Kingston.  Approximately 200 summer jobs in a variety of positions are now posted at www.CityofKingston.ca/careers.

"The City is an excellent employer. The variety of opportunities available means many students are able to obtain jobs in their fields of study," says Sherry Cruise, Manager, Recruitment and Selection.  The available positions pay between $11 and $16 an hour.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled in full-time study at a secondary or post secondary educational institution and be returning to full-time attendance in September 2014.

Students can create an online profile, attaching their resumes and other supporting details and documents, at www.CityofKingston.ca/careers.  Once a profile is created, students can apply to posted City of Kingston positions with a click of the mouse.

Students must apply online by Friday, March 14. The City thanks all those who apply, however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
