Plan to stay happy and active this fall and winter: look for the Recreation and Leisure Guide on your doorstep, come to the Leisure Showcase – and pick up a City Fitness Membership for less than $33 a month. So much for so little!
Recreation and Leisure Guide: Look for the City's popular Recreation and Leisure Guide to be delivered in this week's issue of Kingston This Week. Register for the City programs listed in the Guide at www.CityofKingston.ca/ecity starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3 (programs may be viewed online now).
Leisure Showcase: Bring friends and family to the Showcase from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, 53 Yonge St. Talk to the more than 80 vendors offering activities for you to enjoy. A sign language interpreter will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drop-off and pick-up (free) gently-used skates with the Great Skate Donate.
So Much For So Little: City Fitness Centre Memberships are a fantastic deal – and a great way to motivate you to get more active. An annual membership at the INVISTA Fitness & Wellness Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd., or the newly-renovated Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, 382 Bagot St., is less than $33 a month. Stay active and healthy while enjoying bright spaces, a welcoming atmosphere and these amenities (at both facilities):
- Fitness and wellness classes
- Access to personal trainers
- Cardio machines
- Strength training circuit
