City participates in Ontario Municipal Social Services Poll
June 17, 2014 -
Residents may be called to participate in the Ontario Municipal Social Services Benchmark Poll now being conducted.
"We wanted residents to know that this is a legitimate poll being undertaken and that the City's Community & Family Services and Housing Departments look forward to receiving the survey results to learn about our residents' opinions and experiences related to local social services delivery," says Adèle Lafrance, Director, Community & Family Services.
This Ontario Municipal Social Services Association-commissioned poll asks participants to respond to about 15 questions aimed at gauging the current attitudes of Ontarians to social services by geographic area. The survey is being conducted by an automated telephone messaging process, which permits respondents to participate anonymously through telephone key-pad selection of their opinions regarding common social services.
This is the first year that the Kingston-region is participating in the annual poll.
