City releases annual 'Report on Housing and Homelessness'

April 24, 2019 -

Whether you are a developer seeking funding for an affordable housing project or a Kingstonian with a low income looking for an appropriate housing option, you'll be interested in the City of Kingston's 2018 Report on Housing and Homelessness.

"The affordability of housing is an ongoing challenge in Kingston, and is a major priority for the City. The housing and homelessness programs and services offered by the City and the County of Frontenac are there to help people find and maintain safe, accessible and affordable housing," says Sheldon Laidman, director of housing and social services.

Also included in the report are summaries of affordable housing projects, current market housing data and information on affordable housing programs.
