City schedules affected by Remembrance Day

November 4, 2013 -

Remembrance Day, on Monday, Nov. 11, is a holiday observed by many municipal workers and will create some changes to municipal services:
 
Kingston Transit: Runs on its regular schedule on Monday. Plan your bus trip using the Trip Planner at www.kingstontransit.ca/tripplanner.
 
Kingston Access Services: Runs as usual. Call 613-542-2512 for more information.
 
Garbage, Green Bin and recycling: No collection Monday and collection moves to the day after your normal pick-up day for the rest of the week. Sign-up at www.CityofKingston.ca/collection to receive collection reminders by phone, email or text.
 
Administrative Offices: All administrative offices, including community and family services, housing and provincial offences, are closed Monday.
 
Utilities Kingston and Kingston Hydro: Open.
 
Kingston Area Recycling Centre: Closed Monday.
 
Beechgrove Complex Recreational Centre: Open.
 
INVISTA Centre & INVISTA Fitness & Wellness Centre: Open.
 
CaraCo Home Field: Open for booked users Monday.
 
Arenas: Open.
 
Wally Elmer Youth Centre: Closed Monday.
 
Libraries: Open.
 
Portsmouth Olympic Harbour: Closed Monday.
 
Grand Theatre Box Office: Open.
