April 22, 2013 -
The City of Kingston has issued a Request For Information (RFI) from those interested in developing 7 Wright Crescent for the purpose of affordable housing.
"The City is pursuing the eventual disposal of this property and would like to explore the interests of experienced not-for-profit organizations and private sector companies to propose a development plan that incorporates a component of affordable housing," says Sheldon Laidman, Director of Housing.
The RFI is available at www.CityofKingston.ca/city-hall/bids-tenders/other-opportunties.
Those interested must register to receive any addendums or supplementary information for this RFI. To register, contact John Henderson, Housing Programs Administrator at email@example.com
Facilitating Affordable Housing is one of six key priorities outlined in the City's 2011-2014 Corporate Strategic Plan (available at www.CityofKingston.ca/city-hall/city-publications).
