null City seeks input for new park on former Napier Street and St. Joseph and St. Mary school site
June 27, 2018 -
The City of Kingston wants input on plans for the new park at the former Napier Street and St. Joseph/St. Mary school site.
"This is an opportunity for those living or working in the neighbourhood to come out and put their stamp on their new park," says Neal Unsworth, manager, Parks Development.
Offer your feedback at one of these upcoming engagement opportunities:
- Get Involved open house: 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 at the Princess Street United Church, 484 Albert St.
Pop-ups in the park (at the former Napier Street and St. Joseph/St. Mary schools site), weather-dependent:
- 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17
- 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 19
Two concepts of the park will be available, showing connections between the parkland and MacDonnell Street, how Napier Street could be integrated into the existing green spaces and other park-improvement options – including play equipment. Residents are invited to select the options or elements of their choice. Staff and consultants will be available to answer questions. Children are welcome to attend the open house and pop-up events – activity bags will be available.
