City seeks Livable City Design Awards nominees
April 24, 2014 -
The City is seeking building project nominees for this year's Livable City Design Awards.
"These awards recognize that well-designed buildings and developments contribute enormously to what makes Kingston a great place to live. This is our opportunity to celebrate thoughtful and sustainable design," says Cherie Mills, Manager of Policy Planning.
Nominations will be accepted from April 22 until May 20 for projects located within the city of Kingston and completed between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2013.
Nomination application forms can be found at www.CityofKingston.ca/livablecity. Anyone can nominate an eligible building project, but this Awards program will be especially interesting to architects, designers, planners, landscape architects, engineers, developers, contractors, consultants and property owners who are proud of their design solutions.
All nominations will be reviewed by a professional jury panel, and awards will be presented at a ceremony in the fall of 2014.
