null City seeks volunteers for Kingston Penitentiary and Portsmouth Olympic Harbour visioning community working group

The City of Kingston is seeking volunteers to participate in a community working group to help develop the vision for the former Kingston Penitentiary and Portsmouth Olympic Harbour.
The community working group will be comprised of four public members, 11 technical representatives and a member of city council. It's expected the group will meet five to six times over a one-year term – though the term may be extended to complete the project.
Members of the working group will:
- Provide feedback on the process
- Help make key decisions
- Ensure consultations with the community are inclusive
- Offer advice on relevant issues
- Be ambassadors for the project
The deadline for applications is 4:30 p.m. on July 13. Visit www.CityofKingston.ca/committees for more information or to complete an online application.
