null City to cancel March 26 and April 2 Planning Committee meetings

March 25, 2020 -

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the City of Kingston will be cancelling its March 26 and April 2 Planning Committee meetings.  All items scheduled to go to these meetings will instead go to the April 16 Planning Committee meeting.

“This decision is based on recommendations from local, provincial and federal health authorities,” says Tim Park, Manager of Development Approvals. “We’re working to adapt our operational processes, but we remind residents that planning applications can still be submitted online and that planners are still available to provide timely assistance by email.”

Information on the April 16 meeting, including where it will be held and how it will be hosted, is being finalized.

Planning Services staff are available to address inquiries about potential applications via phone at 613 -546-4291 ext. 3180 or email at planning@cityofkingston.ca. Applicants are also requested to email the planner assigned to their files, as the Planning offices at 1211 John Counter Blvd. are closed to the public until further notice.

Planning Act applications can still be submitted online through DASH.
