null City to hire 200+ summer students!

January 27, 2020 -

Attention students: The City of Kingston is hiring more than 200 of you to fill a variety of positions this summer! If you’re a full-time student, returning to school in the fall, find available jobs and apply now at www.CityofKingston.ca/Careers.

“Whether you’re interested in working with financial services or spending time outdoors as a member of Public Works or the Recreation team, the City has so many exciting work opportunities,” says Kara Dawson, acting recruitment and selection supervisor with the City.

The City’s summer student positions offer competitive pay and look great on a resume.

“A job with the City is valuable stepping stone and a great way for students to make an impact within their community,” says Dawson.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a summer job with the City, you must be a full-time secondary or post-secondary student who is returning to full-time study in September 2020.

How to apply

To apply, create your online profile – and attach your resume and supporting details/documents – at www.CityofKingston.ca/Careers.

Once your profile is created, you can apply to any City position with a click of the mouse. Your information will be kept confidential.

“Check often, and apply early,” suggests Dawson. “While the majority of student positions will be posted on Feb. 3, there may be postings that continue to trickle in.”

The City thanks all who apply. Only those selected for further consideration will be contacted
