Come to Rideau Heights Community Centre and library open house
June 13, 2016
Rideau Heights is getting a new community centre and library – and building design concepts and draft programming schedules are ready for public input.
"We are working to ensure the programming and activities offered are reflective of what people in the Rideau Heights neighbourhood want. This is a really exciting opportunity to help make sure your favourite activities are offered close to home," says Jaclyn Grimmon, manager, recreation programs.
"We are looking forward to sharing the plans for the new library and hearing what the community wants in their library," says Laura Carter, director, branch experience with the Kingston Frontenac Public Library.
See concepts and offer your ideas and feedback at one of two open houses on Monday, June 27. Drop in to the Kingston Community Health Centre's Homestead Room at 263 Weller Ave. any time from 2 to 4 p.m. or from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
