Credit Cards now accepted to pay property taxes & Utilities Kingston bills

Residents can now pay their property taxes and Utilities Kingston bills using their VISA or MasterCard online or by telephone.
"We know that some residents will enjoy the convenience of being able to make payments using these major credit cards," says Patricia Carrol, Manager Taxation & Revenue.
The City and Utilities Kingston have partnered with Paymentus Corporation to allow VISA or MasterCard to be used to pay property tax or utility bills.
Payments can be made online using the secure web page powered by Paymentus Corporation or by using the Paymentus toll free number:
- Pay property taxes online at www.CityofKingston.ca/paytax or by telephone at 1-855-498-9972.
- Pay Utilities Kingston bills online at www.utilitieskingston.com/Account/PaymentOptions.aspx or by telephone at 1-855-570-0993.
- Paymentus charges a per-transaction convenience fee for its services.
- Credit card payments for property taxes and Utilities Kingston bills are not accepted at the Municipal Payment Centre at City Hall.
