Want to help shape the vision for the former Kingston Penitentiary and Portsmouth Olympic Harbour sites? Offer your input on the themes and principles based on input received during the public sessions held in June.
"These upcoming opportunities will help us further shape some concepts for this historic, waterfront area so close to the heart of Kingston," says Mayor Bryan Paterson. "The City of Kingston and Canada Lands Company are partnering on the KP/POH vision that will guide future development."
Plan to participate in one of these October events:
- Open design charette: Wednesday, Oct. 12. Attend a charette led by a member of the consulting team from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. or from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Press Lounge at Portsmouth Olympic, 53 Yonge St. Registration is required. Email your time of choice to email@example.com. Space is limited. AFTERNOON CHARRETTE IS FULL. SPACE AVAILBLE FOR EVENING CHARRETTE.
- Focus groups: Thursday, Oct. 13. The consulting team will have focused discussions on topics identified by the community from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Limited space is available. Register in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and specify your topic of interest. Space is limited and registration is required.
- Open house: Thursday, Oct. 13. Drop in to the Press Lounge at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. to review concepts generated at the Oct. 12 charettes.
