Due to the hot weather forecast into next week, the duration of the planned power outage for Kingston Hydro customers in the Valleyview and Grenville Park areas has been reduced. The outage on Thursday, July 28 will accommodate the installation of a new hydro pole.
To reduce the impact on customers of a power outage in hot weather, the outage will now begin at 7 a.m., with a five-hour duration.

- Hawthorne Avenue
- Valleyview Drive
- Florence Street
- Sherwood Drive
- Grosvenor Court

This power outage is necessary to allow workers to install a new hydro pole and transfer the overhead lines on Portsmouth Avenue, as part of electrical infrastructure improvements in the area, on behalf of your electrical distributor Kingston Hydro.
